Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain referral relationships with hospitals, rehabilitation facilities, physicians, home health agencies, assisted living communities, and community organizations.
- Conduct routine in-person visits to referral sources to strengthen existing partnerships and generate new business opportunities.
- Coordinate facility tours for prospective residents, families, and referral partners.
- Partner closely with the Admissions Department to ensure prompt follow-up on all referrals.
- Collaborate with the Administrator and interdisciplinary leadership team to develop and execute census growth strategies.
- Track referral activity, admissions, denials, and conversion rates while identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Represent the facility at networking events, healthcare meetings, community outreach programs, and health fairs.
- Promote the facility's specialty programs, rehabilitation services, and clinical capabilities to referral partners.
- Assist with marketing initiatives, brochures, presentations, community events, and digital marketing efforts.
- Monitor local market trends and competitor activity to identify new growth opportunities.
- Participate in daily admissions and census meetings.
- Deliver exceptional customer service to residents, families, referral partners, and community stakeholders.
- Assist with service recovery efforts to maintain positive referral relationships.
- Maintain accurate records of marketing activities, referral contacts, and business development efforts using CRM and tracking systems.
- Minimum 2 years of healthcare marketing experience, preferably in a skilled nursing facility, rehabilitation center, assisted living community, or home health agency.
- Minimum 2 years of nursing home or service industry experience with a strong understanding of customer service techniques.
- Knowledge of Medicare, Managed Care, and post-acute care preferred.
- Proven ability to build and maintain professional referral relationships.
- Excellent networking, communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities with the capability to manage multiple priorities.
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM software.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
