Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Occupational Therapists to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Provide hands-on therapy services designed to improve mobility, coordination, and daily functional abilities.
- Assist residents in developing skills needed to maximize independence and quality of life.
- Monitor resident progress and communicate updates with the therapy and care teams.
- Maintain accurate documentation while following all regulatory and compliance standards.
- Protect resident privacy and confidentiality in accordance with healthcare regulations.
- Work collaboratively with nursing, rehabilitation, and interdisciplinary team members to support positive outcomes.
- Current and active Florida Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) license required.
- Previous experience in skilled nursing, long-term care, or rehabilitation preferred.
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
