Job Description Summary
Exalt Academy is seeking a passionate and knowledgeable High School Social Studies Teacher to teach courses such as U.S. History, World History, Civics, or Economics. The ideal candidate will foster analytical thinking, historical understanding, and real-world connections.

Qualified Candidates Must:
- Be certified to teach Social Studies in Arkansas
- Design and deliver engaging instruction aligned to standards
- Build a classroom culture of inquiry, discussion, and debate
- Support reading, writing, and analysis in historical contexts
- Maintain high behavioral and academic expectations
- Work collaboratively with students, families, and staff
Duties Include:
- Teach one or more Social Studies content areas to high school students
- Incorporate primary sources, technology, and interdisciplinary connections
- Monitor student progress and differentiate instruction
- Contribute to school culture, events, and academic initiatives
Education & Certification Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree required
- Must be certified in Social Studies for secondary education in Arkansas
- 1–3 years of teaching experience preferred
Technical Skills:
- Ability to use learning management and assessment systems
- Familiarity with digital resources and instructional tools for social studies
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
