Key Responsibilities
- Lead the Mission Assurance function supporting DoD customers and internal programs
- Establish and execute mission assurance plans aligned with AS9100, customer, and industry standards
- Serve as primary interface for internal and external audits, including DoD and government customers
- Lead customer design reviews, qualification reviews, configuration audits, and hardware acceptance activities
- Oversee FMECA, RCCA investigations, and major nonconformance resolution
- Chair MRB and FRB activities, including customer-facing presentations
- Partner with Supply Chain to ensure supplier compliance and drive overall supplier quality strategy
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Manufacturing, Program Management, and Business Development
- Build, mentor, and manage a high-performing mission assurance team
- 15 years of experience in Mission Assurance, Quality, or Reliability Engineering within aerospace or defense
- Direct experience supporting complex DoD programs
- 5 years of leadership experience managing technical teams
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical discipline
- Expert-level knowledge of AS9100 and DoD standards
- Ability to operate with high ownership and accountability
- Strong mentoring and organizational development skills
- Active U.S. Security Clearance or eligibility to obtain one
