What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead and manage software development programs for satellite and aerospace systems
- Build and maintain software development plans aligned to cost, schedule, and technical requirements
- Act as the bridge between software engineering, program management, and customers
- Drive execution through:
- Backlog management
- Sprint planning & standups
- Retrospectives
- Prioritize features across multiple stakeholders with competing needs
- Own and maintain tools such as Jira and other lifecycle management systems
- Ensure consistent execution of the software development lifecycle (Agile, V-model, etc.)
- Continuously improve processes, delivery, and team efficiency
- BS or MS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or similar
- 9 years of experience, including:
- Software project/program management
- Exposure to embedded software development
- Strong understanding of:
- Software development lifecycles (Agile, V-model, etc.)
- Requirements, configuration, and issue tracking systems
- Experience with tools like Jira
- Ability to communicate effectively with both:
- Technical teams
- Non-technical stakeholders
- Experience in aerospace, satellite, or high-reliability systems
- Background in embedded systems or firmware development
- Familiarity with hardware/software integration at board level
- Experience managing spacecraft or mission software programs
- Exposure to requirements-driven engineering environments
- Be part of a team building cutting-edge satellite systems
- Work on programs that go from concept ? launch ? operation
- High ownership and visibility across engineering and leadership

- $142,000 – $189,500 base salary
