Sales & Business Development Director, National Security – Hybrid | Herndon, VA 🛰️
We’re hiring for a Sales & Business Development Director with a fast-growing space and geospatial intelligence company, focused on expanding and deepening engagement across the NRO.
This is a mission-driven role for someone who already understands the customer environment and knows how to grow accounts from the inside. You’ll be responsible for driving pipeline growth, strengthening long-term relationships, and expanding footprint beyond existing programs.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead account expansion and pipeline growth across NRO and adjacent DoD and IC customers
- Build and deepen trusted relationships with technical, mission, and leadership stakeholders
- Drive outbound and relationship-led business development to expand beyond existing programs
- Work closely with internal BD and sales teams aligned to the same customer base
- Represent the company at trade shows, briefings, and industry events across the region
- Operate as a senior commercial partner within a highly embedded national security environment
Key Requirements
- Proven sales or business development experience in national security, aerospace, or advanced technology
- Direct experience selling into NRO, with strong understanding of GEOINT tasking, mission operations, and/or Mission Ground Enterprise environments
- Proven ability to grow and expand existing government accounts
- Confident engaging senior technical and mission-focused customers
- Experience using Salesforce or similar CRM tools
- Willingness to travel extensively within the region
- US citizenship with an active TS/SCI clearance
