Senior GNC Engineer | Reusable Spacecraft | Denver, Colorado (Onsite)
We’re working with a venture-backed space company developing a fully reusable satellite platform, technology designed to revolutionise how satellites and payloads are launched by enabling controlled return and reuse.
The business is building a next-generation spacecraft platform from the ground up and has assembled a high-calibre leadership team from SpaceX, Ursa Major, and Muon. With strong early funding and rapid growth plans, they are now looking to add a Senior GNC Engineer to support upcoming missions.
This is a senior, hands-on role with full ownership of flight-critical GNC software, working across simulation, flight, and operations in a highly collaborative environment.
What you’ll be working on
• Design, implement, and validate GNC software for a reusable spacecraft platform
• High-fidelity 6-DoF modelling and simulation across mission phases
• Monte Carlo analysis and end-to-end mission validation
• Development of flight dynamics, orbit determination, and mission planning tools
• Analysis of ground test data and flight telemetry to improve system performance
• Supporting spacecraft operations and mission execution
What they’re looking for
• 5 years of experience in GNC system development within aerospace applications
• Experience working on systems that have reached flight stage
• Strong C development experience in production environments
• Experience with simulation, modelling, and numerical analysis tools (Python, MATLAB, or similar)
• Comfortable working across design, test, and operational phases
Nice to have
• Experience with spacecraft or hypersonic vehicle systems
• Exposure to flight software frameworks (e.g. MAX)
• Experience with Rust or embedded systems
Location
Onsite, 5 days per week in Central Denver
