This is a hands-on engineering position on a product-focused mobile team, working alongside backend engineers, designers, and product managers to ship high-quality iOS and Android experiences with fast release cycles and measurable user impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and ship user-facing features in native mobile codebases using Swift/SwiftUI and Kotlin/Jetpack Compose
- Own architecture decisions for key feature areas, including offline-first data sync, state management, and modularization
- Integrate with REST and GraphQL APIs, handling auth, caching, pagination, and error/retry patterns at production quality
- Improve app performance and reliability: reduce cold-start time, monitor crash rates via Crashlytics/Sentry, and drive release quality metrics
- Build and maintain CI/CD release pipelines (Fastlane, Bitrise, or GitHub Actions) including staged rollouts and automated App Store/Play Store submissions
- Write unit, integration, and UI tests (XCTest, Espresso) and maintain high coverage on critical user flows
- Participate in code reviews, design reviews, and mentorship of mid-level engineers on the team
- 3–6 years of mobile engineering experience with at least 2 years in either native iOS (Swift) or Android (Kotlin), and working knowledge of the other platform
- Shipped multiple production apps to the App Store and/or Google Play, with experience navigating the full release cycle
- Strong grasp of modern declarative UI frameworks: SwiftUI, Jetpack Compose, or equivalent
- Experience with concurrency patterns (async/await, coroutines) and dependency management at scale
- BS in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
- Bonus: cross-platform experience (React Native, Flutter), mobile security practices, accessibility (WCAG) experience, or contributions to open-source mobile libraries
