Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end onboarding and offboarding workflows for remote employees across multiple states
- Administer HRIS and payroll platforms, ensuring accurate data management and timely reporting
- Partner with people managers to resolve employee relations issues and guide performance management processes
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor regulations across remote jurisdictions
- Coordinate benefits administration, open enrollment, and leave management requests
- Support internal people programs, engagement surveys, and diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives
- 2-4 years of experience as an HR Generalist or People Operations Specialist in a fast-paced environment
- Working knowledge of US employment laws, compliance requirements, and remote HR practices
- Hands-on experience with modern HRIS, ATS, and payroll systems (such as Rippling, BambooHR, or Gusto)
- Strong communication skills and ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and empathy
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- Bonus: SHRM-CP or PHR certification, and experience scaling HR operations for a remote-first tech company
