About The Role
The Account Executive owns the full sales cycle for a B2B SaaS platform, from territory planning and discovery through technical evaluation, negotiation, and close. The role works with engineering, IT, security, and business stakeholders to connect complex software capabilities to measurable operational and financial outcomes.
You will manage a defined pipeline across prospecting, inbound demand, expansion, and partner-sourced opportunities. Success depends on disciplined CRM execution, strong discovery, and the ability to lead multi-threaded deals involving APIs, cloud infrastructure, data integrations, security reviews, and procurement teams.

You will manage a defined pipeline across prospecting, inbound demand, expansion, and partner-sourced opportunities. Success depends on disciplined CRM execution, strong discovery, and the ability to lead multi-threaded deals involving APIs, cloud infrastructure, data integrations, security reviews, and procurement teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and manage a qualified pipeline through targeted outbound prospecting, inbound follow-up, account research, and partner referrals
- Lead discovery calls and technical evaluations with engineering, IT, security, finance, and executive stakeholders
- Run product demonstrations that connect platform capabilities, integrations, APIs, and workflow automation to customer requirements
- Coordinate proof-of-concept plans, solution architecture discussions, security questionnaires, and implementation handoffs
- Maintain accurate opportunity data, forecasts, next steps, and close plans in Salesforce or a comparable CRM
- Develop account strategies for strategic prospects, including stakeholder maps, mutual action plans, and expansion opportunities
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with procurement and legal while protecting deal quality and forecast accuracy
- 3-8 years of quota-carrying B2B software sales experience, preferably selling SaaS, cloud infrastructure, data platforms, cybersecurity, or developer tools
- Proven record of achieving or exceeding annual and quarterly revenue targets in a consultative, multi-stakeholder sales environment
- Strong understanding of technical buying processes, including APIs, integrations, cloud platforms, data security, and enterprise procurement
- Experience using Salesforce or a comparable CRM, along with sales engagement, conversation intelligence, and account research tools
- Excellent discovery, presentation, negotiation, written communication, and executive relationship-building skills
- Bachelor’s degree in business, technology, communications, or a related field; equivalent professional experience may be considered
- Bonus: Experience selling to engineering or IT leaders, working with channel partners, managing $100K annual contract values, or selling into regulated industries
