Machine/Binder Operator

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Machine Operator to join our printing production team. This role is responsible for setting up, operating, monitoring, and maintaining printing and finishing equipment to ensure high-quality products are produced safely, efficiently, and on schedule. The ideal candidate will have mechanical aptitude, production experience, and a strong commitment to quality.

Machine Operator – Printing Company
Pay Rate: $24.00/hr. - $28.00/hr.
Shifts Available: Days 7am - 7pm; Nights 7pm - 7am

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate printing presses, bindery, cutting, folding, laminating, or packaging equipment.
• Monitor machine performance and make adjustments to maintain print quality and production efficiency.
• Load paper, ink, plates, and other materials into machines as needed.
• Inspect printed materials for color accuracy, alignment, registration, and overall quality.
• Troubleshoot minor machine issues and perform routine preventive maintenance.
• Complete production orders according to job specifications and deadlines.
• Maintain accurate production logs, material usage, and downtime records.
• Follow safety procedures, lockout/tagout practices, and housekeeping standards.
• Work closely with supervisors and team members to meet daily production goals.
• Assist with packaging, palletizing, and shipping finished products when needed.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous machine operator, manufacturing, printing, or production experience preferred.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
• Ability to read job tickets, measurements, and production instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and quality standards.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Willingness to work overtime or different shifts as needed.

Preferred Experience:

• Offset, digital, flexographic, screen printing, or bindery equipment experience.
• Forklift or pallet jack experience.
• Basic computer/data entry skills.
