Full-time Registered Nurse (RN) opportunity in a wonderful outpatient setting! No weekends or evenings required.
Responsibilities
- Deliver professional nursing care, including patient assessments, triage, medication administration, treatments, specimen collection, point-of-care testing, and clinical procedure support.
- Collaborate with providers and interdisciplinary care teams to coordinate patient care, manage chronic conditions, facilitate follow-up services, and ensure continuity of care.
- Educate patients and families on disease prevention, treatment plans, medications, and self-management strategies while supporting population health initiatives.
- Manage patient communications, diagnostic testing coordination, referrals, prior authorizations, and follow-up on laboratory and imaging results.
- Maintain compliance with clinical protocols, infection control standards, quality improvement initiatives, regulatory requirements, and professional development expectations.
Requirements
- Associate’s degree in Nursing, active Connecticut Registered Nurse (RN) license, and CPR certification (or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire).
- Strong knowledge of nursing practices, medication administration, patient education principles, electronic health records, and population health concepts.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced clinical environment while maintaining professionalism, confidentiality, and effective communication.
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, experience serving diverse patient populations, and bilingual proficiency in Spanish or another language are preferred.
Compensation: $72,000 - $106,500
