Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Nurse Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of an Ambulatory Surgery Center. This role is responsible for staff supervision, operational efficiency, and ensuring the highest standards of patient safety and care in a fast-paced perioperative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily operations, staffing, and scheduling within the surgery center
- Supervise and support nursing staff in the OR/perioperative setting
- Ensure compliance with clinical standards, policies, and safety protocols
- Collaborate with leadership to maintain efficient workflows and high-quality care
- Support staff development and foster a positive team environment
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications:
- Active New York State RN license
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- 3-5 years of leadership experience in an operating room setting required
- Ambulatory surgery experience required
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
