A large Level 1 trauma hospital within one of the nation's biggest public health systems is looking for a Director of Nurse Education to lead the development of its entire nursing workforce. This is a chance to shape orientation, competency, and continuing education across a complex hospital while it pursues Magnet status. What you'll do:
- Lead all nursing education programs, from orientation to in-service to continuing education
- Assess competency and training needs and build the strategy to meet them
- Bring evidence-based, ANA-aligned methods to teaching and professional practice
- Measure learning outcomes against real clinical and quality goals
What you'll bring:
- Active New York State RN license (current registration)
- Master's in Nursing or a related nursing/education field
- 3 years providing nursing education and training
- BLS certification (AHA), or ability to obtain through facility orientation
- Nursing education leadership that supports quality, safety, and a Magnet journey
Compensation: $160,000 - $175,000
