We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Residential Medication Aide (CRMA) to join our assisted living community. Responsibilities
- Administer medications and treatments accurately following physician’s orders and facility protocols
- Monitor residents’ vital signs, physical condition, and overall health status regularly
- Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
- Maintain detailed medical records using Electronic Medical Record (EMR) or Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems in compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Observe and report any changes in residents’ health or behavior promptly to nursing staff or supervisors
- Support residents with specialized needs such as Alzheimer’s care, dementia care, memory care, hospice care, and tube feeding
- Ensure a safe environment by adhering to infection control procedures and safety standards
Qualifications
- Valid certification as a Certified Residential Medication Aide (CRMA) or similar credential
- Prior experience working in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, hospitals, or home care settings preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, anatomy, and medication administration protocols
- Experience with EMR/EHR systems such as Epic or Cerner is highly desirable
- Familiarity with caring for individuals with developmental disabilities or cognitive impairments like Alzheimer’s disease
- Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations and medical documentation standards
- Ability to work compassionately with seniors and individuals with disabilities in a respectful manner
