Duties
- Prepare and cook a variety of nutritious meals according to dietary guidelines and menu plans
- Assist with meal service, ensuring timely delivery and proper presentation
- Follow food handling procedures to maintain safety, sanitation, and cleanliness in the kitchen
- Support menu planning by assisting with ingredient preparation and inventory management
- Maintain accurate documentation of food temperatures, cleaning schedules, and food safety protocols
- Collaborate with team members to accommodate special dietary needs and preferences
Qualifications
- Prior experience in dietary departments or food service environments preferred
- Strong culinary skills including food preparation, cooking, knife skills, and meal assembly
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures
- Experience with menu planning and catering is a plus
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and adhere to safety standards
- Previous restaurant or kitchen experience in the food industry is advantageous

Pay: $16.50 - $19.00 per hour
