The Role
We are seeking a Inside Sales & Appointment Manager who is organized, firm, and intuitively understands people. In this role, you will manage the daily dispatch board to ensure our sales team is routed efficiently. You will not be selling the product; rather, you will be setting the stage for our sales representatives to succeed.
This position goes beyond simple scheduling. You will use your communication skills to assess customer personalities over the phone and strategically assign the appointment to the Sales Representative with the highest probability of success for that specific homeowner. You will also serve as a key motivator for our sales force, helping keep energy high in the field.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Dispatching: Analyze customer demeanor and tone to strategically match each homeowner with the Sales Representative best suited to their personality and needs, directly increasing the probability of closing the sale.
- Sales Team Motivation: Serve as the primary point of contact and morale booster for the sales team, ensuring they feel supported and motivated to perform at their best during their daily routes.
- Appointment Confirmation: Conduct high-volume outbound calls to confirm dates and times for inspections, ensuring all decision-makers will be present.
- Retention & "Saves": Use negotiation skills to "save" appointments when customers attempt to cancel, reinforcing the value of the visit.
- Data Integrity: Maintain accurate paper records regarding customer concerns and confirmation status.
What We Are Looking For
- Experience: Previous experience in a high-volume call center, dispatch, or customer service role is required.
- Resilience: You must have "thick skin" and the ability to handle rejection or difficult conversations with composure.
- Tech Savvy: Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel/Outlook).
- Requirements: Must possess a valid driver's license and reliable transportation to the office.
