Everdry Waterproofing of Pittsburgh is seeking a professional and energetic Receptionist to join our Confirmations Department. This is a high-volume role in an extremely busy office with multiple phone lines. You will serve as the primary point of contact for our customers while working directly within the Confirmations team to assist with scheduling and appointment verification.
Essential Duties
- Call Management: Answer all incoming calls promptly (within 3 rings) with a professional and friendly greeting.
- Call Routing: Accurately screen and transfer calls to the correct department (Sales, Service, Production, or Admin).
- Confirmations Back-Up: Assist the Confirmations team during high-volume periods by making outbound calls to confirm appointments and verifying decision-maker attendance.
- Scheduling Support: Handle basic rescheduling requests and customer inquiries regarding appointment times.
- Visitor Greeter: Welcome visitors, job applicants, and customers who arrive at the office.
- Administrative Support: Perform general clerical duties such as data entry, filing, scanning, and maintaining a tidy reception area.
Qualifications
- Experience: 2 years of receptionist or front desk experience required.
- Communication: Must have a great personality, a cheerful speaking voice, and the ability to work well with others.
- Skills: Strong multitasking abilities, highly organized, and detail-oriented.
- Technical: Proficiency with multi-line phone systems and basic computer skills.
- Logistics: Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle required.
- Physical: Ability to remain in a stationary sitting position for the majority of the workday.
- Screening: Must pass a background check.
