Job Title: Litigation Secretary

Position Overview
The Litigation Secretary will play a key role in supporting legal operations by managing administrative and coordination tasks. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced litigation environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Answer and direct incoming call in a professional and courteous manner
- Schedule depositions for parties and non-party witnesses
- Organize, scan, and manage incoming mail and legal documents
- Maintain accurate records and documentation
- Communicate with clients, attorneys, and opposing counsel via phone and email
- Follow up on pending tasks and inquiries in a timely manner
- Support administrative and litigation-related processes as required
Required Qualifications
- Strong keyboarding and computer proficiency
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and take initiative
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in a plaintiff-side personal injury and/or medical malpractice law firm in New York State
- Familiarity with litigation procedures, including deposition scheduling
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $50,000 – $60,000 per year (based on experience)
