Sometimes, the right role isn’t about a title—it’s about trust, judgment, and alignment.
A highly respected, politically active partner is seeking a seasoned Executive Assistant to serve as her operational backbone. This is a high-trust role supporting a fast-paced, client-facing legal practice in a progressive, labor-focused environment, working with stakeholders in public policy, advocacy, and government.
You will own a complex calendar, manage and prioritize a high-volume inbox, and keep communications, logistics, and deliverables moving seamlessly. You’ll prepare meeting materials, track tasks and deadlines, coordinate travel (including frequent DC), and ensure all documents and client communications are polished and on point. You’ll also serve as a key liaison with clients, vendors, and internal teams—handling sensitive, high-level matters with discretion and sound judgment.
The principal is warm, well-regarded, and deeply mission-driven—but also a perfectionist who expects excellence. The current assistant is retiring after a long tenure, so stability and long-term commitment are essential. After 90 days, one remote day per week is offered.
Quick check: This is a progressive, labor-focused, politically active environment. Are you comfortable working in that setting? If you bring discretion, precision, and the ability to run a busy desk without missing a beat, this is a rare and meaningful opportunity.
