Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience in fiber optics installation and splicing.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams.
- Familiarity with cable TV systems, coaxial cable installation, and fiber optic cabling.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in fiber optic technology (e.g., FOA Certified Fiber Optic Technician).
- Experience with fire alarm system installation and maintenance.
- Knowledge of safety standards and regulations related to cable installation.
- Previous experience conducting site surveys and project planning.
- Technical training or associate degree in telecommunications or related field.
Responsibilities:
- Perform installation, splicing, and testing of fiber optic cables and coaxial cables according to project specifications.
