The Heavy Machine Operator plays a crucial role in the construction and manufacturing industries by operating heavy machinery to ensure the efficient completion of projects. Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid heavy machinery operator certification or license.
  • Proven experience operating heavy machinery in a construction or industrial setting.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with multiple types of heavy machinery.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in construction.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate heavy machinery such as excavators, bulldozers, and cranes to perform various construction tasks.
  • Conduct pre-operation inspections to ensure machinery is in safe working condition.
  • Follow project plans and specifications to execute tasks accurately and efficiently.
  • Collaborate with team members and site supervisors to coordinate work and ensure safety protocols are followed.
  • Maintain accurate records of machinery usage and report any maintenance needs or issues to supervisors.
