What are the responsibilities and job description for the Preschool Educational Aide position at ESC?
Lakewood City schools is seeking a Monday-Thursday 8.0 hours per day (1/2 hour unpaid lunch) General Education Preschool Classroom Assistant (Para-Professional) position for employment for the 2025-2026 school year.
Qualified candidate will be assigned to Lakewood City Schools. Childcare experience preferred.
Minimum Qualifications:
1. High School Diploma
2. Minimum of an educational aide certificate required.
3. Prior experience working in an educational classroom setting, preferably preschool.
4. Demonstrated aptitude for the tasks involved.
5. Be courteous, tactful and understanding of young people.
6. Desire, ability, and patience to assist and work with students
7. Knowledge of CPR, First Aide and Communicable Diseases
