What are the responsibilities and job description for the Paraprofessional position at ESC?
The Educational Service Center of Northeast Ohio is seeking interested and qualified candidates for a Paraprofessional/Educational Aide position (2 positions available) assigned to Cuyahoga Heights Elementary School for the 2026 - 2027 school year.
This assignment is Monday through Friday, for 193.5 days and 7.0 hours per day for the 2026-2027 school year assignment.

Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma.
- Ability to obtain the appropriate permit from the State of Ohio.
- Prior experience working in an educational classroom setting.
- Demonstrated aptitude for the tasks involved.
- Be courteous, tactful and understanding of young people
- Desire, ability, and patience to assist and work with students with special needs in a learning environment on a day-to-day basis.
- Interest in children and education.
- Capable of dealing with confidential student records.
- FBI/BCI background check required
