Provides student assistance with daily living activities, behavior management, instructional support, social skills, task redirection, etc., as directed
Legal Requirements:
Candidates must pass a criminal background check prior to employment

Qualifications:
- Must have or be able to obtain an Educational Aide Permit through the Ohio Department of Education
- Display flexibility, reliability, self-discipline and a willingness to take on challenging taks
- Ability to work empathetically with at-risk students
- Understanding of confidentiality of information about students and all school matters
- Embodies high ethical standards/integrity. Accepts responsibility for personal decisions/conduct
- Nonviolent Crisis Intervention (CPI) or similar specialized training(s) may be required
