Compensation: Starting at $16.00 per hour, based on experience

Epworth Villa is seeking compassionate and dependable Certified Nurse Aides (CNAs) to provide exceptional care and support to our residents. This position plays a vital role in promoting resident comfort, dignity, safety, and overall well-being within our senior living community.

Available Schedules

Full-Time Positions

• Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and every other Wednesday
  7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and every other Wednesday
  7:00 AM – 7:00 PM

Position Summary

The Certified Nurse Aide provides direct resident care and assists residents with activities of daily living while supporting a safe, clean, and comfortable environment. CNAs work closely with the nursing team to ensure residents receive attentive, respectful, and compassionate care.

Essential Responsibilities

• Assist residents with personal care needs, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and meal assistance
• Support residents in maintaining dignity, comfort, and independence
• Observe residents and promptly communicate changes in condition or behavior to licensed nursing staff
• Respond appropriately and efficiently to resident requests and call lights
• Maintain accurate communication with team members regarding resident care needs
• Assist in maintaining a clean, organized, and safe resident environment
• Promote positive interactions with residents, families, visitors, and coworkers
• Follow all safety, infection control, and resident care policies and procedures

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Current Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) certification required
• Current CPR and First Aid certification through the American Heart Association required
• Previous long-term care or senior living experience preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
• Demonstrated compassion, patience, and professionalism
