Position Summary
The Technical Lead works under direct supervision to provide leadership and direction to a team based on established business strategies to ensure continual improvement, customer satisfaction, and adherence to company policy. The Technical Lead supports productions activities to ensure products are produced in accordance with quality and production requirements and company goals as they relate to these areas.
Essential Functions

- Provides support and guidance to Assemblers and Technicians on the resolution of issues, assisting in developing production tools and equipment, and performing operational tests, fault isolation on systems, and machine adjustments.
- Conducts a variety of tests to collect data for Engineering and Production, developing and directing production equipment set-up within well-defined parameters, recommending training which will result in employee development and process improvements and cost reduction projects.
- Monitors, verifies, and completes required paperwork and documentation, auditing work to ensure achievement of established production goals and ensure all safety and 6.S. guidelines are followed, fully participating in the development and achievement of departmental and company objectives.
- Monitor and analyze approved actions to improve manufacturing processes, equipment performance, overall work quality, and lead the team to take the appropriate corrective actions to meet goals, quality standards, safety, and cost objectives.
- Assist in operational objectives, assignments, and activities, including occasional revision of schedules and problem solving.
- May oversee projects and daily processes to develop appropriate reports, data, and analysis.
- Inform/direct Maintenance personnel to maintain and repair machinery and equipment as needed. In conjunction with Maintenance personnel, coordinates maintenance activities with department requirements and schedules to minimize downtime and use resources efficiently.
- Works with supervisor to lead employees through effective communication, coaching, training, and development.
- Maintain department level ISO documentation, procedural maintenance, and revision; support ISO audits and ensure overall compliance to the standard.

Education and Experience
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent applicable education and work experience is required.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment
- Minimum 3 years of progressively responsible experience
- Demonstrated ability to lead, direct and delegate.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to communicate with all levels of personnel
- Demonstrated project management experience with concurrent deadlines.
- Strong analytical and diagnostic skills
- Proficient PC skills are required, including experience with the Microsoft Office Suite
Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the employee may work in a warehouse, manufacturing, cleanroom, and/or office environment that is subject to moderate to high levels of noise, specialized apparel and safety equipment, and moving mechanical parts. This position will have exposure to and use of materials listed in the company’s Safety Data Sheets (SDS).
