Position Summary
We are seeking an Injection Molding Operator to join a manufacturing team producing precision molded components. The ideal candidate will operate and monitor injection molding machines, maintain quality standards, support production goals, and follow established procedures to ensure safe and efficient operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate injection molding machines to meet production targets and quality specifications.
- Monitor production runs and machine performance, identifying and reporting issues promptly.
- Conduct visual and dimensional inspections of molded parts to ensure they meet quality standards.
- Trim, degate, and handle finished parts, and prepare them for packaging or next process steps.
- Maintain accurate production and quality records in accordance with procedures.
- Keep work area, machines, and tooling clean and organized while following safety and housekeeping standards.
- Assist other team members with material handling, setup, and basic trouble-shooting as needed.
- Follow all safety protocols and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Prior experience operating injection molding machines or similar manufacturing equipment is a plus but not always required for entry-level operators.
- Mechanically inclined with the ability to learn machine setup and process adjustments quickly.
- Ability to read and follow work instructions, process sheets, and basic diagrams.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality parts.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks
- Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team environment.
