This role is focused specifically on manufacturing and NPI-driven projects within a regulated environment, where coordination, execution, and attention to detail directly impact product quality and customer success.
What You’ll Be Responsible For
- Lead new product introduction (NPI) and manufacturing transfer projects from kickoff through production
- Build and manage detailed project plans using tools such as Microsoft Project, ensuring alignment across timelines, resources, and deliverables
- Serve as a key point of contact for internal stakeholders and customers throughout the project lifecycle
- Coordinate cross-functional teams across engineering, quality, and operations to ensure project requirements are met
- Drive execution around IQ/OQ/PQ, validation activities, and regulatory documentation
- Monitor project progress and performance, proactively identifying risks and implementing mitigation strategies
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget while meeting quality and regulatory requirements
- Prepare and maintain project documentation tied to validation, customer requirements, and regulatory standards
- Facilitate regular project meetings to communicate updates, address challenges, and maintain alignment
What This Role Requires
- Experience managing projects in a regulated manufacturing environment (medical device strongly preferred)
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes (machining, molding, assembly, or similar)
- Hands-on exposure to NPI, process development, or manufacturing transfer work
- Ability to work cross-functionally and stay close to the floor—not just manage timelines
- Comfortable operating in a customer-facing, contract manufacturing environment
- Strong organizational, communication, and documentation skills
Preferred (But Not Required)
- PMP certification
- Experience with ISO 13485 / FDA-regulated environments
- Background in Lean Manufacturing / Six Sigma or structured problem solving
Why This Role Stands Out
This is a high-impact position inside a growing contract manufacturing environment where project management is directly tied to customer delivery, product quality, and operational performance.
You won’t just be tracking timelines—you’ll be helping bring complex medical products from concept into stable production.
