Warehouse Maintenance Supervisor

Under the direction of the Maintenance Manager, this role leads the day-to-day work of the maintenance team, ensuring the facility, equipment, and grounds are kept in safe, working order. This person plays a hands-on role in keeping operations running smoothly by coordinating repairs, managing priorities, and supporting the team on the floor when needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily activities of maintenance staff, assigning work and adjusting priorities as needed
• Maintain cleanliness and organization across all areas, including docks, aisles, breakrooms, restrooms, and office spaces
• Inspect facilities regularly, identify issues, and take action to resolve them quickly
• Plan and schedule preventative and routine maintenance to minimize downtime
• Coordinate materials, equipment, and staffing for maintenance projects
• Perform and support complex repairs across electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and related systems
• Lead a team of skilled and semi-skilled workers, including trades such as carpentry, painting, HVAC, and electrical
• Ensure all work is completed thoroughly and up to standard
• Step in on additional duties as needed to support the operation

What You Bring

• At least 18 months of post-high school training in maintenance, repair, or a related field
• 2 years of hands-on maintenance experience, with the ability to troubleshoot electrical, plumbing, and mechanical issues
• Comfortable leading a team and working with employees at all levels of the organization
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions independently
• Able to assess situations, connect the dots, and make sound, practical judgments

Physical & Work Environment

• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs
• Comfortable standing, walking, and moving throughout the facility for extended periods
• Ability to navigate stairs and large work areas regularly
• Willingness to work in a distribution center environment with varying temperatures
