Maintenance Regional Manager
Location: Travel-Intensive | Full-Time | Exempt
Salary: 85k-95k DoE
Are you a hands-on maintenance leader with experience in distribution or warehouse operations? We’re seeking a Maintenance Regional Manager to oversee multiple facilities, lead maintenance teams, and support new site start-ups across the country.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, enjoys problem-solving in the field, and is comfortable with extensive travel.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee maintenance operations across multiple distribution centers
- Lead, train, and manage maintenance teams nationwide
- Support new facility start-ups (go-lives) with extended travel
- Inspect facilities, diagnose issues, and implement corrective actions
- Manage preventative maintenance programs and prioritize work orders
- Ensure proper function of electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and ammonia refrigeration systems
- Coordinate with and hold vendors accountable for performance
- Partner with operations and safety teams to meet production goals
Qualifications:
- 3 years of experience as a Maintenance Manager (distribution/warehouse preferred)
- Strong knowledge of ammonia refrigeration systems (required)
- Experience with electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems
- Ability to troubleshoot equipment failures and implement solutions quickly
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Comfortable managing multiple sites and priorities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Technical training or related education preferred
Work Environment & Requirements:
- Extensive travel required, especially during new site launches
- Must be available/on-call as needed
- Ability to work in varying warehouse temperatures
- Physical ability to stand, walk, climb stairs, and lift up to 30 lbs. continuously.
