Position Summary
As a Regional Sales Manager, you will be responsible for building, developing, and leading a high-performing sales team across multiple lines of business. You’ll be at the center of a startup environment, helping shape scalable sales processes, drive strategic growth, and expand into new markets. This role requires a strong leader with deep experience in both B2B and B2C sales, a background in healthcare or insurance, and a proven ability to scale teams and revenue.
Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership & Development:
Recruit, train, coach, and manage a growing sales team across multiple service lines and customer segments (including healthcare and insurance verticals).
Sales Strategy & Execution:
Build scalable, repeatable sales processes tailored to each line of business. Drive performance metrics, forecast revenue, and optimize pipeline management.
Cross-Line Growth Management:
Oversee and coordinate sales activities for both direct-to-consumer (B2C) and business-to-business (B2B) segments.
Partner & Referral Relationship Oversight:
Support and grow strategic partnerships, including broker networks, employer groups, TPAs, healthcare organizations, and community-based partners.
Performance Monitoring:
Track KPIs, generate reports, and provide regular performance updates to leadership. Continuously refine sales tactics based on data and market trends.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Work closely with marketing, product, operations, and leadership to ensure alignment on growth goals and customer experience.
Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of sales management experience, preferably in healthcare, insurance, wellness, or related industries.
Demonstrated success scaling and managing sales teams in fast-paced, entrepreneurial or startup environments.
Strong understanding of both B2B and B2C sales models, with the ability to adapt strategies across channels.
Background in insurance, health plans, provider networks, or employer-sponsored healthcare is a major plus.
Excellent communication, leadership, and people management skills.
Data-driven approach with experience using CRM and sales analytics tools.
Proven ability to build culture, motivate teams, and drive results under pressure.
