Brief Summary of Duties
- Review and process order requests from the sales team using company software to ensure timely fulfillment.
- Prepare items for shipment by securely packing, boxing, and palletizing according to company standards.
- Transport and load palletized items for shipping, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Perform routine inventory management tasks, such as updating product locations and maintaining organized storage areas.
- Maintain physical stamina to stand or sit for an entire 8-hour shift as needed.
- Operate effectively in a dynamic warehouse environment with varying temperatures influenced by local weather conditions.
- Includes sitting, standing, bending, twisting and the ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Other duties as assigned by department and leadership.
Experience and/or Education Requirements
- Proficient in basic computer skills with the ability to type efficiently.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications.
- Identify, pick, and pack inventory across multiple stock locations to ensure accurate and efficient order fulfillment.
- Demonstrates strong multitasking abilities to handle various tasks simultaneously.
- Exhibits sound decision-making skills in a dynamic work environment.
- Capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
- Adheres to and follows written procedures accurately.
- Ability to load and unload trucks using a pallet jack
Experience and/or Education Preferred
- High school diploma or GED
- Forklift Certified is a plus
- Knowledge of the Shipworks / Ship station shipping platforms is beneficial
- Familiar with UPS / FDX / USPS and other shipping vendors
- Fast-paced working environment and meeting deadlines
- IT or relevant electronic knowledge
