Envision Technology, an innovative small business providing advanced electro-optical solutions for defense applications, seeks a Contracts Administrator. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting business objectives by overseeing contract review, negotiation, and lifecycle management while minimizing organizational risk.
Responsibilities:
· Draft, review, and administer contracts, subcontracts, NDAs, amendments, and related agreements.
· Ensure all agreements comply with company policies, applicable laws, and customer contractual requirements.
· Maintain accurate and organized contract files, databases, and tracking systems.
· Track contract performance, key milestones, renewal dates, and deliverables to ensure compliance.
· Support proposal and bid activities through review and analysis of contractual terms and conditions.
· Collaborate with Legal, Finance, Program Management, and Operations on contract-related matters.
· Assist in contract negotiations by preparing summaries, redlines, and supporting documentation.
· Identify, assess, and communicate contractual risks and issues to management.
· Support internal and external audits, reviews, and compliance initiatives.
· Manage detailed records of all export transactions, technology control plans, and licensing exceptions to satisfy federal recordkeeping requirements.
· Monitor expiring licenses and decision disposition or extension as required.
· Submit required Electronic Export Information filing for exports.
· Prepare export documentation including shipping label for all exports.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Legal Studies, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
· 2–5 years of experience in contract administration or related role.
· Demonstrated understanding of contract terms, conditions, and compliance requirements.
· Strong organizational skills with proven ability to manage and maintain complex contract documentation.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to convey contractual information clearly.
· High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
· Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
· Experience with government or defense contracting; working knowledge of FAR/DFARS preferred.
· Experience supporting proposals, subcontracts, and supplier agreements.
· Familiarity with compliance audits, reporting requirements, and regulatory reviews.
