This position is in the Office of Air and Radiation, Office of Program Management Operations, Budget Formulation and Planning Division.

About: The Office of Air and Radiation.

This is an office-centered position--you must physically report to one of the duty stations stated in this announcement on a regular basis.

Qualifications:

NOTE:  You must meet qualification requirements by the closing date of this announcement.

To qualify for the GS-14 level, you need to have at least one year of full-time experience equivalent to the GS-13 level defined as providing administrative and technical advice or leadership in budget formulation and justification; participating in strategic planning, program evaluation and development of programmatic performance measures; and leading workgroups, projects or programs.

Responsibilities:

You will:

  • Plan, organize, and direct the unit’s activities to ensure legal and regulatory compliance and to meet customer needs. 
  • Exercise supervisory responsibilities to foster an environment that empowers employees to participate in and contribute to mission success. 
  • Represent the Agency to stakeholders by building effective working relationships, providing policy and procedural guidance, and resolving issues as they arise.
  • Serve as a technical advisor on issues pertaining to annual budget requests, audits, and annual performance measures.
