What You'll Do
- Manage full-cycle General Ledger accounting, including journal entries, reconciliations, fixed assets, depreciation, month-end close, and financial reporting.
- Reconcile and maintain accurate balance sheet accounts across multiple franchise locations.
- Support multi-state payroll processing, audits, and compliance reporting.
- Analyze financial data, identify discrepancies, and recommend solutions.
- Participate in accounting projects, process improvements, and cross-functional initiatives.
- Help strengthen internal controls and contribute to accounting best practices.
What We're Looking For
- Four-year degree (accounting or business preferred) or equivalent experience including three years of accounting experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the key responsibilities of the position.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and accounting principles.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and complex formulas.
- Experience with month-end close, account reconciliations, and financial reporting.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
- Self-starter with a high level of accuracy, professionalism, and accountability.
- Experience identifying process improvements and driving efficiencies is a plus.
