Accountant | Full-cycle

Environment Control is looking for a detail-oriented and collaborative accounting expert to join our accounting team.

What You'll Do

• Manage full-cycle General Ledger accounting, including journal entries, reconciliations, fixed assets, depreciation, month-end close, and financial reporting.
• Reconcile and maintain accurate balance sheet accounts across multiple franchise locations.
• Support multi-state payroll processing, audits, and compliance reporting.
• Analyze financial data, identify discrepancies, and recommend solutions.
• Participate in accounting projects, process improvements, and cross-functional initiatives.
• Help strengthen internal controls and contribute to accounting best practices.

What We're Looking For

• Four-year degree (accounting or business preferred) or equivalent experience including three years of accounting experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the key responsibilities of the position.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and accounting principles.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and complex formulas.
• Experience with month-end close, account reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
• Self-starter with a high level of accuracy, professionalism, and accountability.
• Experience identifying process improvements and driving efficiencies is a plus.
