Supplier Quality Engineer

6 month contract

Pay: $45-$55hr

The Supplier Quality Engineer II impacts customer satisfaction and continual improvement through monitoring, managing and resolving issues related to supplier quality performance by developing Supplier relationships, auditing Supplier’s capabilities, capacities, products, processes and procedures, handling the disposition of Supplier rejections, and coordinating Supplier corrective actions.

• Bachelor’s Degree in an Engineering (Electrical/ Mechanical or equivalent technical degree)
• Enterprise-wide Systems Integration (PLM, MRP, MES, ERP, etc.)
• Demonstrated knowledge of quality management methodologies such as:
• Six-sigma, Lean, Kaizen
• Statistical Process Control (SPC)
• Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) and Production Part Approval Process (PPAP)
• Control Plans
• ISO 13485/ISO-9001/AS-9100
• Quality Management Systems

Preferred Certifications/Licenses:

• ASQ-CQE, CQA, or equivalent
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt
• Lead Auditor Certification ISO 9001 and 13485 preferred
• Experience with Mini-tab application plus
