Manufacturing Coatings Process Lead
Southeastern Indiana | Onsite
Join a growing automotive manufacturing team focused on advanced coatings and paint processes. This role will serve as a key liaison between production, engineering, quality, and maintenance to improve coating operations, drive process efficiency, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Optimize automotive coating and paint processes to improve quality, efficiency, and throughput.
- Troubleshoot process issues and implement corrective actions.
- Partner with production, quality, engineering, and maintenance teams to drive operational improvements.
- Analyze production data, monitor KPIs, and identify opportunities for process enhancements.
- Support Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Develop and maintain process documentation and manufacturing standards.
Qualifications
- 5 years of manufacturing, process engineering, or operations experience.
- Strong experience with automotive coatings, paint systems, or finishing operations.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, root-cause analysis, and process optimization.
- Experience working cross-functionally in a manufacturing environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, or equivalent experience preferred.
Ideal Background: Automotive, transportation, lighting, coatings, paint, plastics, or other high-volume manufacturing environments.
Location: Southeastern Indiana (near Hanover/Madison area).
