Required Qualifications
- B.S. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field (M.S. preferred).
- 10 years of experience developing complex electrical/embedded hardware products from concept through production.
- Proven expertise in high-performance digital hardware design, including advanced processors, memory technologies, high-speed interfaces, and interconnect architectures.
- Strong understanding of signal integrity, power integrity, and high-speed PCB design principles.
- Demonstrated technical leadership managing complex engineering programs and mentoring engineers.
- Experience with technical proposals, project planning, cost/schedule estimation, and execution.
- U.S. citizenship required; ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
- Ability to travel as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
- Active U.S. government security clearance.
- Experience with advanced processor architectures (Intel Xeon platforms or similar).
- FPGA design experience with AMD/Xilinx or Intel/Altera devices, including next-generation FPGA platforms.
- Experience with high-speed networking, including Ethernet, PCIe, DDR memory, and advanced interconnect technologies.
- Proficiency with PCB design, signal integrity analysis, and simulation tools such as Cadence Allegro or Mentor solutions.
- Experience with hardware reliability analysis, FMEA/FMECA, component derating, and compliance testing.
- Knowledge of military/aerospace standards including MIL-STD-704, MIL-STD-1275, MIL-STD-461, MIL-STD-1399, or DO-160.
- Experience with VPX (VITA 46/65), VITA standards, COM Express, or SoM platforms.
- Background in secure computing, encryption, anti-tamper technologies, video processing, RF/digital signal processing, or radiation-tolerant electronics.
- Familiarity with requirements management and collaboration tools such as JAMA, DOORS, JIRA, or Confluence.
