Revit BIM Designer – Telecommunications
We are seeking an experienced Revit BIM Designer to support the design and coordination of telecommunications systems for advanced technology and semiconductor facilities. This role is responsible for developing and managing Revit BIM models, coordinating with multidisciplinary design teams, and producing high-quality 3D models and construction documentation that meet client and industry standards.
Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and coordinate Revit BIM models with other discipline leads and project team members.
- Create and manage fully coordinated 3D models and 2D construction drawings using Revit, Navisworks, and AutoCAD.
- Ensure models comply with client BIM standards, design requirements, and applicable codes.
- Coordinate with civil, structural, architectural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, telecommunications, instrumentation, and life safety disciplines.
- Review markups, incorporate design revisions, and estimate modeling effort based on project requirements.
- Support design coordination meetings and resolve clashes using Navisworks.
- Maintain consistency and quality across project documentation throughout the design process.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 4 years of Revit MEP/BIM design experience.
- 3 years of experience in telecommunications systems design within the construction or engineering industry.
- Proficiency with Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, and Bluebeam (or similar markup software).
- Experience working with client BIM standards and design specifications.
- Understanding of wiring/cabling systems, network topology, and telecommunications infrastructure.
- Knowledge of life safety and security systems including fire alarm, access control, CCTV, paging, intercom, and audio-visual systems.
- Experience designing for semiconductor or other advanced manufacturing facilities is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with applicable codes, construction documentation, and multidisciplinary coordination.
