What are the responsibilities and job description for the Computer Numerical Control Programmer position at Entegee?
We’re seeking an experienced CNC Programmer with strong NX skills and a solid background in CNC manufacturing, tooling, and process optimization.

What You’ll Do:
- Develop efficient CNC machining processes, tooling, and fixtures
- Create programs in NX
- Improve workflows, reduce cycle times, and eliminate waste
- Partner with design engineering on DFM
- Lead troubleshooting and root-cause analysis
- Support equipment, tooling, and technology selection
What is needed:
- 5 years in CNC machining & process engineering
- CNC programming, setup, and operation
- NX Programming Vericut
- Probe & macro programming
- Multi-axis machining (3, 4, 5-axis mills mill-turn)
- Strong GD&T and blueprint reading
- Metrology and measurement systems
- Lean manufacturing & process improvement
What is preferred:
- Degree in Manufacturing/Mechanical Engineering
- PC-DMIS CMM or automation experience
- Firearms or other high-precision manufacturing experience
- ERP/MRP familiarity (Epicor preferred)
- Six Sigma / AS9100 / ISO 9001 background
