Mechanical Engineer (Mid-Level)
Dallas, TX | Hybrid (1 day WFH) | Full-Time
My client is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join a growing engineering team focused on designing systems for mission-critical facilities and complex construction projects. This role offers the opportunity to work on both new construction and renovation projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, efficient designs.
What You’ll Do
- Collaborate with clients and internal teams to understand project requirements and objectives
- Support the development of mechanical design solutions, evaluating options and contributing to project direction
- Assist in the preparation of design documentation, including:
- Equipment selection
- Construction drawings
- Specifications
- Energy modeling
- Coordinate with multiple engineering disciplines to ensure designs are code-compliant and constructable
- Perform calculations and assist in reviewing designs for accuracy and quality
- Communicate with team members, consultants, and vendors to support project timelines
- Participate in construction phase activities:
- RFIs
- Submittal reviews
- Site visits/inspections
- Support senior engineers and contribute to overall project delivery
What We’re Looking For
- 4-8 years of experience in mechanical engineering design
- Experience working on multi-disciplinary projects
- Strong understanding of building systems (HVAC, piping, etc.)
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Revit experience preferred
