The Opportunity
A growing, investor backed company is adding a Financial Analyst to its corporate finance team. You'll act as the finance partner to several business units, helping leaders understand performance, plan ahead, and make smarter decisions. Expect to be in the room where strategy meets numbers.
The team values experimentation, and AI tooling is part of how the work gets done day to day. If you like the idea of building cleaner processes and using new tech to do more interesting analysis, this will feel like a fit.
A Day in the Role
- Partner with business unit leaders to build forecasts, run scenarios, and pressure test assumptions
- Dig into monthly results, explain what's driving the numbers, and recommend where to lean in or pull back
- Help shape annual planning cycles and longer term financial roadmaps
- Track cash trends and flag where working capital can be improved
- Get involved in deal work, including helping new businesses plug into the company's reporting and systems
- Build dashboards and reporting that leadership actually uses
- Take on stretch projects: pricing studies, margin analysis, board materials, ad hoc deep dives
What Makes Someone a Fit
- A degree in a quantitative or business discipline (Finance, Accounting, Econ, Math, or similar)
- One to three years of experience in FP&A, banking, consulting, or another analytical seat
- Comfortable living in Excel and building models from a blank sheet
- Some SQL exposure or genuine interest in picking it up; bonus points for Snowflake, Looker, NetSuite, or Python
- Open mindset toward AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, etc.) and how they can speed up analytical work
- Strong instincts for turning messy data into a clear story
- Independent operator who can run with vague problems and figure out the path forward
- Bonus: any prior experience supporting acquisitions or integrating new entities
Salary : $80,000 - $90,000
