Job Summary:
The Senior Recruiter is a highly capable and versatile talent professional who owns full-cycle recruiting across a wide range of roles, from high-volume hourly production positions to salaried technical and professional roles, including engineering.
This role also manages external recruiting partnerships, owns the onboarding experience through the first 90 days, and maintains compliance with employment practices.

Duties/Responsibilities:
Full-Cycle Recruiting
- Lead end-to-end recruiting across diverse roles, including:
- Hourly production and frontline positions
- Salaried roles including engineering, administrative, and leadership roles
- Partner with hiring managers to define needs, prioritize roles, and align on hiring strategies
- Proactively build and maintain talent pipelines through direct sourcing, networking, and market outreach, not just relying on inbound applicants
- Screen, interview, and assess candidates for skills, experience, and fit
- Manage interview processes, feedback loops, and offer negotiations while ensuring structured, consistent, and effective interview practices across all hiring teams
- Train and coach hiring managers on interviewing best practices and develop a recruiting handbook to drive consistency, quality, and accountability across all hiring decisions
Agency & External Recruiting Partnerships
- Own relationships with external recruiting agencies and search firms
- Recommend when to engage agencies for hard-to-fill or specialized roles
- Manage agency performance, including candidate quality, speed, and experience
- Ensure agency partners align with company expectations and compliance standards
Onboarding & First 90-Day Experience
- Own and continuously improve onboarding from offer acceptance through day 90
- Manage preboarding processes, including background checks, documentation, and communication
- Partner with leaders to ensure structured onboarding plans
- Track onboarding success (retention, engagement, time-to-productivity)
- Conduct new hire check-ins and implement improvements based on feedback
HR Compliance Ownership
- Own and maintain processes for:
- I-9 verification and audits
- EEO/AA compliance and reporting
- Background checks and documentation
- Employee recordkeeping and audit readiness
- Support and lead HR audits, ensuring processes are accurate and audit-ready
- Stay current on regulatory changes and proactively update practices
Required
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, business or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum of 5 years of full-cycle recruiting experience across both high-volume hourly and salaried/professional roles (e.g., engineering, corporate)
- Experience managing onboarding programs with measurable outcomes
- Demonstrated experience managing HR compliance across the employee lifecycle
- Strong working knowledge of federal, state, and multi-state employment laws and regulations
Preferred
- Direct experience with Paycom, including recruiting, onboarding, and compliance workflows is strongly preferred
- SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification and AIRS Certified Internet Recruiter (CIR) certification are preferred
- Experience managing external recruiting agencies or search partners
- Experience in manufacturing, distribution, or operations-heavy environments
- Experience supporting multi-site or multi-state workforces
