Immediate Need for a perm full time onsite Quality & Patient Safety Specialist (QPS). Location: Queens NY area. Salary: $140-150K max. Full Benefits.
- Bachelor's Degree required. Master’s Degree in a related field preferred
- Clinical Licensure required. CPHQ/CPPS- Preferred/Required within 6 months
- Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience required
- 3-5 years Project Management experience preferred
- Trained or certified in methodologies such as Six Sigma, PDCA, Lean, or Project Management preferred.
- Main Job Scope: The QPS Specialist is a key player in ensuring excellent quality and patient safety within the hospital. As an expert for assigned departments/units, the QPS Specialist assists in the development, implementation, and improvement of programs to meet quality and safety standards, especially when it comes to patient care. This involves data analysis, working with QPS leadership, etc.
- Required: Advanced proficiency with Microsoft applications including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other web-based applications
- Required: Strong analytical/problem-solving, critical thinking, and idea-generating abilities
- Required: Strong team-building ability: effectively able to motivate, engage, and encourage team participation
- Required: Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Must be eligible to work in the United States without the need for work visa or residency sponsorship.
