What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accounts Payable Analyst position at Employment Enterprises, Inc.?
Our client is a major transportation agency responsible for connecting communities and supporting mobility across the DC region. The Accounts Payable Analyst will be responsible for invoice reconciliation, reviewing and approving invoice control groups, assisting with vendor master data validation, and handling accounts payable tasks to support the agency’s needs.
This is a full-time hybrid position based in Alexandria, VA, paying $42.09 per hour.
Responsibilities
- Invoice reconciliation and approval of invoice control groups
- Validate and research vendor master data, including TIN and other fields
- Correspond with vendors to obtain missing information
- Review, approve, and document invoice processing end to end
- Perform data entry corrections or adjustments as needed
- Support additional accounts payable tasks as required
Qualifications
- Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience; experience preferred over degree
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in invoice processing and data validation
- Excellent communication skills for vendor correspondence
- Technical proficiency with accounts payable systems and data entry
