Our client is a major financial enterprise dedicated to supporting housing markets and promoting sustainable homeownership nationwide. They are seeking a Communications Specialist to support enterprise and divisional initiatives through clear, accurate communications and practical change enablement content. This is a full-time, contract position based in McLean, VA, paying $40.00-$44.00 per hour.
Responsibilities
- Translate complex technology and business topics into concise, usable content for employees and leaders
- Support change and adoption efforts through messaging and enablement content
- Research, evaluate, and summarize complex information with accuracy
- Support internal communication strategies and content updates
- Utilize intermediate to advanced SharePoint skills and basic video editing capabilities
- Perform effectively in a fast-moving, high-visibility, high-expectations environment
Qualifications
- Strong writing and editing skills
- Experience drafting/developing business communications and creating/updating job aids
- Change management experience
- Proficient in Microsoft SharePoint and Microsoft PowerPoint
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- No specific technical writing background required
