Job Description:
- Oversee personnel procedures, including organizing, training, and supervision
- Manage general business operations
- Ensure appropriate insurance coverage and handle claims processing and loss-prevention measures for planned communities and associations
- Prepare and review financial reports
- Maintain compliance with local, state, and federal laws and regulations related to planned communities and associations
- Adhere to Federal Fair Housing Laws
- Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to relate to and motivate others
- Ability to organize, coordinate, and direct volunteer groups
- Basic accounting proficiency
- Experience with budget development and planning
- Short- and long-term planning capabilities
- Strong record-keeping abilities
- Computer literacy, including spreadsheet and word-processing skills
- Initiative and follow-through in developing and executing plans or tasks
- Ability to identify problems and implement or recommend effective solutions
- Ability to identify opportunities for improvement (cost savings, revenue, operational enhancements) within the community
