Experienced Maintenance Technician

Position: Maintenance Technician

Location: Kihei, HI

Pay: $32/hour

Experience:

• 5 to 10 years of experience and proven success in a residential maintenance position for luxury homes or condos.
• Experience with HVAC, plumbing, drywall, electrical, carpentry, appliance, and painting repairs.
  
  

Type: Full-time; Contract

Schedule: Monday - Friday

Employers Options is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join a growing and dynamic team!

Job Description:

• Perform general maintenance and minor repairs including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, drywall, carpentry, painting, and appliance repair
• Maintain exterior and common areas to ensure safety, cleanliness, and visual appeal
• Inspect homes, cottages, and villas prior to guest arrivals and following departures
• Complete pre-arrival and post-departure checklists accurately and on time
• Respond promptly and professionally to member and guest service requests
• Secure properties upon guest departure and report emergency or safety concerns to management
• Assist with preventative maintenance programs and documentation
• Maintain a safe, organized, and orderly work environment
• Support residential services and HOA teams as directed
  
  

Position Requirements:

• Service-oriented mindset with strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
• Basic computer proficiency
• Ability to remain calm and focused during busy periods
• Flexible schedule availability, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and extended shifts
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English; additional languages a plus
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and meet physical demands including standing, walking, bending, stooping, lifting, and working indoors and outdoors
• Demonstrates respect for Hawaiian values, culture, and community
• Prolonged standing, walking, and movement (4 hours)
• Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, bending, squatting, and reaching
• Ability to work in varying indoor and outdoor environments
