Job Description:
- Record day-to-day financial transactions using accounting software (QuickBooks, FACTS, or similar).
- Maintain general ledger and assist with monthly reconciliations.
- Process accounts payable and receivable, including check preparation and deposits.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts.
- Assist with tuition and fee management, including posting payments and coordinating with third-party systems.
- Communicate with parents regarding billing inquiries in a professional and confidential manner.
- Assist with financial report preparation and annual budgeting processes.
- Ensure compliance with diocesan policies, school procedures, and internal controls.
- Support tracking of fundraising, donations, and event income.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Business Manager or Principal.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, FACTS, or similar), MS Excel, and Word.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to manage deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Discretion and commitment to confidentiality.
- Alignment with the values and teachings of the Catholic Church.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for working with staff, faculty, and families.
